This page explains what happens to your data when you subscribe to Stay Funded (our free newsletter), apply and reserve a spot (doors open January 1, 2027), verify your funded account, or join the members’ Discord.
Who is responsible
Funded Few is run by Herman Bjørheim, Norway, who is the data controller. Contact: hello@fundedfew.com.
1. The free newsletter
- What: your email address, the page or form you signed up from, and the date you signed up and confirmed.
- Why: to send Stay Funded, the free Prop Firm Rules Sheet, and the reservation link when it opens.
- Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), confirmed by the link in the confirmation email (double opt-in).
- Where: stored with our email provider Kit (ConvertKit LLC), which processes it on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
- How long: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Unconfirmed signups are deleted after 30 days.
2. Applications, reservations and payments
- How reservations work: when you apply and reserve, you save a card with Whop. Nothing is charged then. Your card is only charged if you’re approved, on January 1, 2027 when the doors open, and monthly after that. You can cancel any time before January 1, 2027 and nothing is charged.
- What: your name, email, the answers you give in the application (for example your prop firm and trading session), and optional social handles. Socials are never required.
- Where: applications, checkout and billing run on Whop. Card details go directly to Whop and its payment processors. We never see or store your full card number.
- Why and legal basis: to review your application and run your membership (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), contract), and to keep records required by accounting and tax law (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- How long: application answers are kept while your reservation is open or you are a member and deleted within 12 months after you leave, after a cancelled reservation, or after a declined application. Payment records are kept as long as Norwegian bookkeeping law requires.
3. Video verification
Membership is for verified funded traders only. To verify, you either join a short live screen-share or send a screen recording of your prop-firm dashboard.
- Only used to verify you. We check that the funded account exists and is in your name. You can blur account numbers and anything else you don’t want us to see.
- Then deleted. Recordings are deleted as soon as the check is done, at the latest within 7 days. Live screen-shares are not recorded.
- What we keep: a note that you are verified, the date, the prop firm, and your payout tier if you choose to share it. Nothing else.
- Never shared. Verification material is never posted, shown to other members, or given to anyone else.
- Every 90 days we ask for a quick re-check, handled the same way.
- Legal basis: contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). Verification is the core of the membership you apply for.
4. The members’ Discord
Members get access to a private Discord server. We link your Whop membership to your Discord username so the right roles and badges (such as Verified and Active) are applied and removed automatically. Discord is its own service with its own privacy policy. The member directory is opt-in, and you can leave it anytime.
What we don’t do
- No cookies, analytics or tracking pixels on this website.
- We never sell or rent your data.
- No trade signals, and no marketing from third parties.
Transfers outside the EEA
Kit, Whop and Discord are based in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA, the transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time: use the unsubscribe link in every email or write to hello@fundedfew.com. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
